I'm starting my diet again. This isn't directly related to it being almost New Year's Day. That is just way to cliche for me. Some people at work are considering starting South Beach next week (probably because it is New Year's). I decided to start again because they are doing it. I lost 20 lbs on it last spring and actually enjoyed the diet. I've kept the weight off just keeping the general principles in mind but not being strict at all. Besides in my mind it will be a competition and that will keep me motivated. So, I'm posting it also as a motivator.
